Fractional Chief of Staff | Post-Fundraise Operations
For founders who just closed a round and now have to build the machine to back it up, I step in as the operational layer between your vision and how your team delivers against it every day. I help you and your team scale without losing what made you great in the first place.
This work includes:
Cross-functional execution: This is the highest-value offering I bring to founders: keeping the whole business in view so that decisions made in Product don’t blindside Sales, and customer feedback from CS actually reaches the roadmap.
Operational rhythms: Replacing the normal post-fundraise chaos with a repeatable rhythm across teams and the wider company for running high-productivity sprints.
Blocker-driven standups: Leading standups that help teams articulate what’s in their way and what needs to happen to remove the blockers.
Accountability: Holding people and teams accountable to what needs to get done. I’m unapologetic in doing so, and also keep it fun.
Hiring and org sequencing: I help founders understand how to hire in the right order, and what infrastructure needs to exist to make those hires successful.
Operationalizing culture: As the team grows, I help move slide deck vision and values into the org in tangible and meaningful ways. I’m also an ear to the ground across teams.
This is a 3 - 6+ month engagement.
Services
Customer Experience | Pre- and Post-Sales Operations
For early-stage B2B startups that want to move beyond manual onboarding and bespoke feature-building and build a repeatable, scalable customer journey. I act as the bridge between what you promised your product will do and what it can do in this early stage, helping to turn your first 0–50 customers into long-term partners instead of one-off custom projects.
This work includes:
End-to-end customer journey mapping: From signature to first-value.
Operationalizing onboarding: To remove the founder/CEO as the bottleneck.
Stakeholder success frameworks: For end-users, buyers, and executives.
Retention and renewal strategy: All aligned to customer budget cycles.
Feedback loops: These codify customer pain into the product roadmap.
Data-driven ROI narratives: To prove value and protect your NRR.
This is a 3 - 6+ month engagement.
Quarterly Planning Intensive | Half Day
For founders and startup leadership teams who know they need to get organized but don't have the time or structure to do it on their own. This is a lightweight, facilitated session designed to give you and your team the space to get aligned on what you're actually working toward, who owns what, and what "done" looks like. You'll walk away with clarity that would have taken weeks to arrive at on your own, if it all.
This work answers five questions:
What are we actually working on? We get the right priorities on the table and pressure-test them as a team.
Who is tackling it? We get specific about ownership.
What does done look like? We make sure everyone leaves with the same picture of completion and success.
What's standing in the way? We get the blockers on the table before they slow you down mid-quarter.
What will be different? We make sure you walk away knowing exactly what will look, feel, and be different by the end of the quarter.
2 Weeks Prep; Half-Day Workshop (In-Person or Virtual)
Testimonials
Kaity was a key early addition to our team when we were getting our GTM motion up and running. She brought structure, process, and incredible client management skills, and could tell what clients needed before they had any idea what they needed. She would be my first call if I were building a customer success or sales org from scratch.

Kaity is The Desk's strategic superpower. I can land any half-formed idea — growth, operations, customer experience, culture — at her feet, and she makes sense of it and helps turn it into something tangible we can run with. Kaity is sharp, has deep startup experience, and is generally fun to work with. She's also a serious accountability partner. If you tell her you want to get something done, you better mean it.

Kaity is scary productive. She goes beyond initial execution to strategizing next steps, drafting the plan, and ensuring the right people are read-in and enthusiastic. She navigates the typical startup chaos effortlessly, keeping everyone on the same page and ensures customers have a white-glove service experience. She's a rare combination of relentless achiever and fun conversationalist whose subtle humor balances her intensity.
